Can I settle the payments in local currency?

Ideally the preferred currency is USD. For customers looking to settle the payments in MVR you will be require settling it within the proposed Exchange Rate which will be provided by our Accounts Team

How long does it take for a shipment to arrive once I settle the Shipping Charge?

It depends on the Origin and the Flight Availability and Connectivity to Maldives. The Estimated Leadtime will be 7 – 10 Days from any Origin within our network via Air.

What are your business days and working hours?

Our Business Days will be from Saturday – Thursday, Friday will be Closed. Our Working Hours are as below: Saturday: 11:00AM – 17:00PM Sunday to Thursday: 10:00AM – 18:00PM

What is an Actual Weight & a Dimensional Weight?

Actual weight is the true weight of the package as it says on the weighing scale. Volumetric weight is how much space the package occupies according to its dimensions, which is then converted to its equivalent weight.

Is my shipment insured or, do you provide Insurance?

No, you can request to apply Insurance your package before confirming the uplifting of shipment to be included in the Shipping Charges accordingly.

What does Insurance cover?

Insurance covers loss or damage to the items in your shipment. Claims can be filed for the declared value plus international shipping costs, if applicable. Insurance does NOT cover import duties and taxes, domestic shipping costs or damage to the box/packaging.

Do you provide consolidation services?

Yes, we do provide Consolidation Services FREE of charge if it is maximum 4 locations. Any collections beyond four locations a minimal In-land Transportation Charge will be charged by Shopme based on origin.

Do you provide temperature-controlled facilities?

Yes, provide temperature-controlled or humidity-controlled facilities.

Will I get real-time notifications of checkpoints through entire journey of my shipment?

Yes, you will be provided with a Tracking Number where you can track your shipment from the point of Creating your Order to Delivery.

How do I file a claim for missing and damaged items?

You will be required to send an email to [email protected] for any missing or damaged items within 30 days from the date of date of delivery proposed by Shopme along with the supporting documents. You will no longer be able to submit for Claim following failure to submit for claim within 30 days.

Can I start using Shopme services immediately after I sign up?

Yes. Once you receive your membership confirmation, you are ready to start shopping! We will immediately begin accepting all of your purchases. Please ensure that all of your shipments include your Shopme Delivery address with your unique suite number.

What if I have not received a verification email after registering?

Please check your spam inbox in case the verification email may have been sent there.

What if I forgot my password?

You can reset your password by clicking on "Forgot your password?" on the Login page.

Is there any parcel restriction in terms of size and weight?

The size and weight restriction of parcel varies from country to country. In case of the overweight or oversize parcel, you may be required to pay an extra fee for your parcel; your parcel may be charged by its volumetric weight; our warehouse may refuse to ship that parcel. Will I be charged for storage?

Members receive 30 days of free storage. Packages stored past the free storage period will incur storage fees of $0.5 per package per day. Storage fees continue to accrue until your package is shipped, discarded, or returned to the sender. You will see storage charges itemized on your invoice when the package is shipped or discarded.

What are the prohibited items.

Religious materials, Perishable goods, Raw meat and Uncooked seafood, Prescription Drugs and illegal Drugs, Bones, Debris, Fur and Fossils, Living plant, Alcohols, Cash and Cash Equivalents, Pornography / Objectionable material, Corrosive Substances, Explosives, Flammables, Gas and Compressed Gas Cylinder, Radioactive Materials, Guns and Related Accessories, Knives, Daggers and Bows, Toxic and Infectious Substances and any commodity restricted by the destination country or refuse to carry by the carrier.
